A big welcome to our newest brother Knight, Joseph Lo. We look forward to getting to know you and to a mutually beneficent involvement with Council 6855.
Thank you to all the Brother Knights who took the time to attend our Education Seminar last Tuesday. We hope you found it both informative and inspiring. Thanks to those who worked hard to organize and to present, and to Mrs. Patricia Barnwell for the yummy banana bread!
One kid from District 23 (Council 10681) made it through the Regionals Free Throw Competition yesterday. Well-done, Mariella Palma! We will see if her score reigns supreme for the Supreme medal in the 10-year old age group.
Our focus this coming week is on our Parish Mission. Spiritual formation is part and parcel of the Knights mandate, so we call upon each and everyone’s attendance. Fr. Lucien Larré promises a lively and life-changing experience! What better way to enlighten our Lenten journey. Brothers, if you can come for the Mass at 7pm and help with the ushering, do wear your badges. The talk follows at 7:30pm.
Let us cap this week by participating in the Day of Prayer on Saturday. Our intention for this month: Let us pray that the Canadian Parliament will act swiftly and decisively to protect our elderly, disabled, and depressed against euthanasia, and to prevent our medical professionals from being complicit in their killing.
Have a blessed week!
