Activities

The Knights of Columbus organizes its activities across six service programs:

  1. Church
  2. Community
  3. Council
  4. Culture of Life
  5. Family
  6. Youth

Our calendar is planned around the Columbian Year, which begins on July 1st when the newly elected Executive assumes office and ends on June 30th.

Some activities are conducted in connection with the other Richmond Councils (Joint Council) and with Assembly 2485 (Fourth Degree Knights).

Weekly Activities

Active members serve as Ushers, Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Communion during Sunday Mass.

Monthly Activities

  • Pancake Breakfast and Blood Pressure Check on  Sunday once a month
  • Family Rosary Night on zoom from Sep to June
  • First Degree Exemplification as required
  • Day of Prayer on the last Saturday
  • Special Food Bank Collection on the last Sunday
  • Eyeglass Collection ongoing
  • Canadian Blood Services drive as directed by CBS
  • Karaoke and Sports 2 times a month room availability permitting
  • General Meeting on the first Monday of the month
  • Executive Meeting based on availability month

Annual Activities include

  • Installation of Officers

August

  • Parish Picnic BBQ by the Knights
  • Joint Council Picnic Aug 16 @ St. Monica Parish from 9 am to 12 pm
